COVID-19 – Sinneave Programs and Services Updates

This notice was updated on September 17, 2020.

The health and safety of our staff, program participants, visitors and partners is of top priority for The Sinneave Family Foundation. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following the advice of Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer and Alberta Health Services.

The following are some of the measures we have implemented to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our clients to the extent possible, while at the same time enabling social distancing measures and following other best practices for containment and risk reduction:

  • We have temporarily postponed all in-person client seminars, meetings and special events that are routinely hosted at The Ability Hub.
  • We have also postponed all non-urgent business travel and face-to-face meetings, and instead are utilizing web-based communications and technology as necessary.
  • The Ability Hub is temporarily closed and staff are working remotely to the extent that it is possible.
  • Autism Community COVID-19 Response Fund – Applications are closed.

We will be updating our website regularly with information about any impacts on programs and services.

If you have any questions, please email us at as we will not be receiving phone calls or messages at our main number until further notice.
