Caring for the Caregiver – ACT 5 Session Workshop

April 28, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Ticket Price: Free

Workshop Description:

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Caregivers of Neurodiverse Individuals
ACT seeks to help individuals to manage difficult things in their lives and mindfully connect with things that are most important in a way that is loving and respectful. With an introduction to the concept of ‘mindfulness,’ ACT helps to develop a new mindful relationship with unwanted thoughts and feelings. This process helps a person to be more open, and to take action consistent with what they care about.

This workshop series will be delivered FREE via Zoom.

Who Should Attend?

This group is for parents & caregivers of neurodiverse individuals (including autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences). To enable group sharing and support, participants must have access to a computer with a webcam, video, and audio.

About the Facilitators:

The ACT workshops are run by two facilitators who are both parents of individuals who are on the autism spectrum. One facilitator is also a clinician.

Dates and Times:
