Personal Safety in the Community, at Home and Online

Workshop Description: Join Lorna Selig for an informative session on Personal Safety. Topics covered will include online and internet safety, and basic strategies for keeping yourself protected in the community and in the home. Lorna will offer links and articles for follow up and further support.
Presenter Bio: Lorna Selig is the Provincial Expansion and Transition Coordinator at The Children’s Link Society. She and her team support families to complete the documentation that is required for youth to move into the adult services system. Lorna facilitates the Transition Workshops, and the Family Managed Services Workshops which are held monthly at the Children’s Link.
As well, she is the owner of Safe4Life Personal Safety and Self Defense. With Safe4Life, Lorna and her team have facilitated tens of thousands of people through the important process of protecting themselves. Children, teens and adults participate in the Safe4Life programs to learn the skills for safety in the community, at home and online.
