Lorna Selig is the Transition Consultant at The Children’s Link Society. She supports families to complete the documentation that is required for youth to move into the adult services system. The whole process, although it may look daunting, can be done easily and smoothly with the system that Lorna has developed. Lorna co-facilitates the Transition Workshops, which are held twice monthly at Children’s Link. Lorna has established herself as a significant point of contact for Calgary and area families looking for support and information about transitioning their youth within the disability sector. As well, she is the chairperson for the Annual Transition Resource Fair. Lorna is a former presenter for the MS Society of Canada, and teaches personal safety and self-defense to children and adults with Safe4Life Personal Safety Training.
