Each month we highlight an AIDE Canada resource that ties into the work we do here at Sinneave.

The month of October is Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM).

In this AIDE resource–Time to Get Up and Go to Work: Strategies to Increase Employment Readiness–participants learn about the foundational steps to seek, secure, and sustain employment by exploring interests, resume writing, job searching, interview skills and other self-advocacy skills.

There is also valuable advice for educators who are teaching job preparation skills and employers interested in hiring autistic and neurodivergent youth and adults and creating inclusive work environments.
