CommunityWorks Canada® is an after-school pre-employment training program for teens and young adults ages 15-21 with ASD that provides opportunities to gain valuable work experience, build social skills and make new friends.
We are currently accepting applications for our SPRING 2017 SESSION.
April – June 2017 (13 Weeks): Thursdays from 5:00-7:30 p.m.
As a PARTICIPANT in the CommunityWorks Canada® program, you will have a chance to explore your interests and abilities in a variety of work environments.
- Develop and practice job skills
- Gain valuable volunteer experience
- Explore areas of future employment interest
- Build confidence
Week 1: Orientation at The Ability Hub: #300, 3820 – 24 Avenue NW, Calgary
Week 2 – 13: Work experience activities at various local business
