The Calgary Herald highlighted the work and community impact of Community Education Service in a recent article.
The Sinneave Family Foundation is so pleased to be partnering with Community Education Service (CES) to expand our workshop reach. Offered by Alberta Health Services, CES describes themselves as offering free information sessions on child and adolescent health and mental health topics for the public. In addition to face-to-face presentations, certain topics are available via Video-Conferencing, Audio-line, On-line, and/or Webinar. By working together to produce and host workshops, CES and The Sinneave Family Foundation have been able to reach a broader audience of families and professionals who may be interested in attending, as well as offer an on-line webinar format for those who are not local or who cannot attend in person for another reason. So far this year, the workshops we have partnered with CES on have experienced a significant increase in registration, particularly in the webinar option.
CES has a registration process for people wanting to participate in their workshops and they administer the process of sending webinar URL information when the option is available. Their homepage is at: http://community.hmhc.ca/.
