Sinneave’s vision is that autistic adults live, learn, work and thrive in their communities and realize their desired futures.
To support this vision, Sinneave is pleased to offer the Directors Award to eligible Albertans.
The Directors Award honours the service of both current and previous members of Sinneave’s Board of Directors. The award acknowledges that specific experiences or equipment can support youth and adults to build independence or improve quality of life, yet certain financial circumstances may restrict individuals from accessing these experiences or equipment.
The Directors Award may be used to purchase items that support achieving goals in the areas of post-secondary education, employment or independent living. Examples of items that have been previously funded are laptops for school and work, first aid instructor course, rental housing deposit, household items, therapy, and clothing for work.
Congratulations to the recipients of 16 Awards that have already been granted in 2022!
Applications are still being accepted until June 30, 2022 and successful applicants will be notified via email before July 15, 2022.
Recipients may receive the Directors Award to a maximum cumulative value of $1000.
