The 2019 Els for Autism Canada “Calgary Golf Challenge” tournament will be held at the Carnmoney Golf Club in Calgary on Monday, August 26, 2019. 2018 was the most successful tournament and there is hope to better it this year.
They are planning on having a full field tournament and are experiencing a great deal of interest from both past players/sponsors and new golfers and sponsors. They encourage you to sign up early for the tournament to ensure you will be part of the fun. The tournament will have many fun events including beat the pro/celebrity events, putting challenges, skill competitions including $50,000 hole-in-one contests, and much more.
The tournament will also be highlighted by silent and live auctions that will include wine and scotch tasting events, many golf related items/golf packages, holiday packages, dining experiences, etc.. If your team raises $15,000 you will receive an invitation to the Grand Finale in Palm Beach Florida in October where you will get to meet the great Ernie Els.
Now is the time to get involved by signing up for the tournament or supporting the cause through a donation or sponsorship. It is important to remember the real reason to participate – to support Alberta families who are dealing with the challenges associated with having a child on the Autism spectrum. Last year the charity provided over $65,000 dollars for organizations in Calgary which directly support children on the Autism Spectrum. If you want to support the cause, but are not a golfer, you can always join for dinner and the auctions or make a donation to one of the registered teams.
