Having a job is a doorway to independence. Take the first step today.
We are currently recruiting for our January 2024 EmploymentWorks (EW) In-person cohort! EmploymentWorks is a program that offers autistics and people with disabilities the training and support needed to prepare for, find and keep a job.
Combining classroom training and job sampling in real workplace settings, EW offers participants an opportunity to put their learning into practice with hands-on experience. Participants also receive ongoing support to find a job and continue developing the skills they need to thrive in the workplace.
If you:
- self-identify as being autistic, neurodivergent, or have a disability;
- feel you need support in preparing for, finding, and keeping a job;
- are motivated to find a job; and
- can legally work in Canada,
EmploymentWorks might be a good fit for you.
If you want to find out more about our program and apply to participate in our January cohort, email info@sinneavefoundation.org or call us at 403 210-5000.
If EmploymentWorks sounds great to you, but attending the in-person program isn’t possible, you can still open doors through EmploymentWorks Online.
The online format and user-friendly design makes EW highly accessible by removing barriers to participation such as location, transportation, and fixed program schedules. All you need is access to a computer or tablet and a reliable internet connection. The best part is you can start today!
EW Online has reimagined the traditional EmploymentWorks curriculum into an engaging e-learning experience with interactive features, tools, and resources. Participants can connect with live support as needed to ask questions, discuss content and receive 1 to 1 job seeking support. This program is perfect for someone who prefers learning at their own pace with limited support.
