Regular physical activity is an important part of a healthy and balanced childhood. Unfortunately, children with disabilities have lower fitness levels and higher rates of obesity than typically developing children of the same age, which suggests that they are not getting enough physical activity. No study has been done in Calgary to understand the physical activity levels of children with disabilities.

Dr. Deborah Dewey, Dr. Jean-Francois Lemay and Dr. Sarah MacEachern have created a questionnaire to ask parents of children with disabilities about how much physical activity their child is currently participating in.

They are asking for participation in this research.
