Sinneave’s Refreshed Look!
The Sinneave Family Foundation formed in 2008 to address challenges faced by individuals with autism and their families.  In 2011, Sinneave opened the doors of The Ability Hub, one of our first major initiatives. The Ability Hub is a 17,000 square foot space on the University of Calgary campus, where a variety of autism focused organizations co-locate to pursue a shared interest of improving the transition to adulthood for individuals with autism.
Over the past decade, Sinneave has expanded its reach through important work at The Ability Hub as well as through successful local, provincial and national collaborations.  As the national profile of Sinneave has grown, having two distinct brands for one organization (Sinneave and The Ability Hub) has created some confusion with our stakeholders.
In June of 2017, following the release of our Strategic Plan we saw an opportunity to refresh our logo, website and brand.
Refreshed Logo

The refreshed logo brings a more contemporary look to Sinneave, while respecting our history and positioning as a stable, innovative and trusted collaborator in the autism community in Canada.
The logo captures the essence of emerging adults on the pathway to adulthood.  The visible letter A maintains our focus on autism and the abilities of the individuals and families we serve.
The circle surrounding the A and symbolic figures captures our expertise, and represents inclusivity, collaboration and collective impact.
The colors chosen for the logo are also a fresh and modern take on the previous charcoal and greens, and continue to represent sustainability, growth, and well-being.  Complementary colors in the palette are energetic and warm, signifying boldness and humility.
We have also created a 10 Year Banner logo for 2018 to celebrate our decade of operation.
New Website

We launched our new website www.sinneavefoundation.org on March 1, 2018.  Content from The Ability Hub website has been incorporated into our new website in order to provide visitors with an easier way to learn about The Sinneave Family Foundation, our work, events and services without having to go to two separate websites.
We hope you find the new website visually appealing, dynamic, easy to navigate, and helpful in learning about Sinneave, what we do, our approach, and our impact.
