Who | Students between the ages of 15 and 19, diagnosed with
autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and are currently enrolled in a CBE high
school. Students will earn a total of 3 Work Experience credits towards
the completion of their high school diploma. Completion of the
pre-requisite course, HCS 3000 is expected prior to July 3, 2018.

What | For a second year and in partnership with the Sinneave
Family Foundation, CBE is oering a unique structured learning
opportunity combined with supported community work placements to
help prepare students for employment and the transition to adulthood.

Where | Students will spend 4 half days per week at a pre-arranged
work placement and 1 half day in a structured classroom learning
environment. Two cohorts of 4 students will be supported by a certied
teacher, a peer job coach and the employing organization. Students are
responsible for their own transportation to and from the program.

When | Program runs July 3 – August 3. Cohort 1: 9:00 am – 12:00
pm and Cohort 2: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Program registration will remain
open until 8 participants selected.
