What’s New with Sinneave Programs – May 2020
We are working to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our clients to the extent possible during the COVID-19 situation (click here for details). Most of Sinneave’s core programs and services are continuing to operate virtually, and we want to update you on important developments that are happening behind the “screens”!
Launch + Skills
Enrollment in Launch + Skills is ongoing and the program is currently operating virtually. For more information and to find out if this program is right for you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Launch + Skills program has been in operation since early 2018, helping to support emerging adults (age 15 and older) plan for their future and build the skills they need to be successful. Program participants work on a variety of life skills towards goals in continuing education, employment and independent living.
We are pleased to share that based on program data, and direct feedback from participants over the past 2 years, some exciting refinements are in the works!
Program improvements are being piloted this spring and we look forward to seeing how these changes enhance participant experience and outcomes.
Excel Campus Prep
Excel Campus Prep began in 2019 as a five-day summer course for individuals with autism who are planning to enroll in a post-secondary program after graduating from high school. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on group gatherings, the Excel Campus Prep program staff are currently exploring alternate program delivery options for this summer, should it be necessary, such as a series of short modules that can be watched online. More information will be available soon!
For additional information, or support to help you prepare for post-secondary education, please email email@example.com.
Stay tuned for updates on our website for these and other Sinneave initiatives in the Spring/Summer of 2020.
