Worktopia National Employment Network | April 29, 2019

A Worktopia National Employment Network Meeting was convened in Ottawa on April 1st  by The Sinneave Family Foundation and Autism Speaks Canada. The community conversation brought stakeholders together from across Canada to co-design a network with a shared goal to change the odds of employment success for people with autism. A variety of perspectives were represented at the meeting including individuals with autism, family members, employers, agencies, policy makers, community members and researchers/clinicians. Nearly all event attendees expressed interest in ongoing participation in the Worktopia National Employment Network and we look forward to what we can collectively accomplish. All community members are invited to join this network and to extend that invitation to others who may be interested. Consider employers, self-advocates and others, including those who may bring a perspective that currently may be under-represented in this endeavour.

Let’s work together to build a network that embodies all the voices in our community!
