Dawn Leonard has been committed to helping vulnerable children, youth and families to overcome challenges and find success for over 20 years in our community.  She has worked for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary since 2001, and led a variety of programs and initiatives ranging from residential and foster care supports to education, employment, and Aboriginal initiatives.  Ms. Leonard has also worked with children and youth at the Society for Treatment of Autism, as both a frontline caseworker as well as a residential supervisor. Her studies in psychology and her drive to level the playing field has led her to create innovative solutions to prepare children and youth for success in educational and vocational settings.  Ms. Leonard previously served on the Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network Board and is the Chief Development Officer at her organization.
