In 2019, The Sinneave Family Foundation was approached by the Adult Autism Stakeholders Group in Prince George, BC. They had an idea for an employer resource that would support the creation of more inclusive work environments for autistics. Sinneave agreed to take on the role of the lead organization in order to help bring the project to life. In collaboration with Corey Walker, a member of the stakeholders group, Sinneave was successful in its’ application for an Autism Speaks Canada Family Services Community Grant.

Corey began working for Sinneave in March 2019 as the Project Coordinator and will be leading the development of a resource entitled: “Best Practices for Employing Autistic Adults: Building Canada’s Inclusive Workforce”. The launch of this resource is set to align with Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) in October of 2020.
