YYC World Autism Acceptance Day is April 2!

YYC World Autism Awareness (& Acceptance) Day (YYC WAAD) in Calgary has grown to be the largest of its kind in Canada! 2024 marks the 11th annual celebration and we are excited to celebrate, raise awareness and promote acceptance everywhere. The event is free for all ages, and you are invited!

Hosted by Autism Calgary and Autism Aspergers Friendship Society (AAFS) Calgary, this event brings together local leading autism- and disability-serving agencies and educational organizations, all onsite showcasing their programs and services.

You can expect food trucks, facing painting, an art station, and performers on the spectrum during the event. Plus…we’re planning a few new things that will appeal to young adults too–be sure to come check it out!

Wear Gold or represent your favourite local sports team!
