The Sinneave Family Foundation aims to be a hub of innovation and collaboration and strives to achieve meaningful and measurable impact by reducing barriers and enhancing opportunities for Autistic youth and adults.
If you are interested in proposing a collaborative initiative with Sinneave, please review the pathway descriptions to determine which one aligns best with your proposal.
Please note: Sinneave does not offer a) general sponsorships of events or b) financial support for ongoing operational activities that are part of an organization’s regular budget (core operational funding).
Key Requirement of All Applicants
To be considered, collaboration requests must align with Sinneave’s mission to reduce barriers and enhance opportunities for Autistic youth and adults in one or more areas of employment, post-secondary education, and housing.
Collaboration Pathways
Community Collaboration

Purpose
Providing in-kind support to another organization to enhance or amplify their efforts to reach and serve Autistic youth and adults.
Sharing from Sinneave’s learnings and experience to help support an organization to be neuroinclusive.
May include:
Letter of support, review of content with recommendations, communication support and network engagement, knowledge dissemination, amplifying Autistic voices, and enabling Autistic participation.
Community Micro-Grants*
- Micro-grants
- In-kind support
Purpose
Providing small, micro-project grants that spark innovation and support time-limited projects that enable an organization to add additional impact to their existing work.
May include:
Enabling Autistic participation, enhancing accessibility, expanding data collection and analysis opportunities, understanding impact, and improving generalizability of promising practices.
Must be a non-profit organization or a registered charity to be eligible.
*Note: funding is limited and based on availability.
Research
- Non-financial
- In-kind support
Purpose
Promotion of academic research projects aimed at:
- Contributing to the knowledge base of neuroinclusive practices.
- Advancing knowledge related to key social policy issues affecting the autism community.
May include:
Letter of support, recruitment assistance, knowledge dissemination, communication support, and network engagement.
Please note that a request to collaborate, regardless of alignment, does not guarantee Sinneave’s ability or capacity to enter into a collaborative arrangement or agreement.

What to expect after you submit your request
Step 1: Sinneave will confirm that your submission has been received.
Step 2: Expect between 2 – 3 weeks for your request to be reviewed.
Step 3: You will be contacted to discuss your request in more detail to help make an appropriate determination of alignment or to inform you that we are not able to collaborate on your request at this time.
