The Sinneave Family Foundation is pleased to be a project partner of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s (CMHC) Solutions Lab – Housing Through an Autism Lens.

The goal of this 18-month Solutions Lab project is to develop relevant and immediately useable pathways to secure housing options for Autistic adults that include supports, services, and resources. They are also looking at solutions for home builders. In the long term, these solutions will increase safety and reduce risks — including the risk of homelessness for Autistic adults.

This project has recently released its awaited report! Supported by individuals who submitted micro-stories, CMHC-HAL has developed a report intended to help shape housing solutions for Autistic Adults.

Check out their findings in the recently published Challenge Report and learn more about next steps.
