Autism Alberta’s Alliance Event: Connecting Communities is just around the corner!

You are invited to attend their 2-day conference event Thursday and Friday, June 13 and 14th in Calgary.

Connecting Communities aims to shape and influence Alberta’s future for the Autism community to enhance the lives of Autistic persons and their loved ones.

Highlights include:

Day One:

  • Sharing Possibilities highlights work from our provincial Communities of Practices
  • Learn about Working Towards Provincial Assessment Best Practice Standards and Building Capacity from Dr. Lonnie Zwaigenbaum
  • Moving Alberta Toward Timely Access for the Youngest of Children from Dr. Kimberly Ward and Terri Duncan
  • and much more!

Day two:

  • Braiding Indigenous Connections in Autism provides an opportunity to learn from Indigenous identity, contributions, knowledge, and understanding. Led through Autism Alberta’s Indigenous Relations Circle, this trailblazing event provides important perspectives on the intersection of indigenous communities and autism.
