The Calgary Employment First Network is pleased to announce the re-launch of our website! In partnership with the exceptional team at Full Blast Creative, we’ve launched our new and improved website featuring a comprehensive list of CEFN services, member profiles, employer resources and Disability Employment Awareness Month events.
What is the Calgary Employment First Network (CEFN)?
The CEFN is an alliance of local, publicly-funded organizations which support the Calgary Business Community to recruit and retain diverse talent and foster inclusive workplaces, as well as supporting service provider members and hosting networking events. The CEFN’s Mission is to assist employers to increase workplace diversity and inclusion. This collaboration between local service providers is designed to strengthen the resources and services available to employers, and to provide a larger talent pool of prospective candidates.
The CEFN is proud to celebrate Disability Employment Awareness Month every October, acknowledging that it’s important to recognize and celebrate the outstanding inclusive employers and diverse employees that we work with.
What does CEFN do?
Network members provide the following FREE personnel services to the Calgary region business community:
- Customized talent matching and candidate pre-screening
- Assistance with interviewing and onboarding
- Consulting around job accommodations
- Direct support and consulting around training
- Performance and retention supports
- Ongoing diversity and inclusion employer support
