Neurodiversity Celebration Week (NCW) is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, and organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while offering tools and resources to help these entities create more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.

NCW founder, Siena Castellon, launched this initiative in 2018 because she wanted to change the way learning differences are perceived. As a teenager who is autistic and has ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, her experience had been that people often focus on the challenges of neurological diversity. In working to change that narrative, NCW helps to create a balanced view which focuses equally on the many talents and strengths of neurodivergent people.

We are proud to be one of more than 4,000 organizations that has committed our support to changing the narrative around autism and neurodiversity. By celebrating the strengths of neurodivergent individuals and amplifying their voices, we can begin the seismic shift of changing the way neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported, empowering them to achieve their potential.
