Sinneave’s vision is that autistic adults live, learn, work and thrive in their communities and realize their desired futures.

To support this vision, Sinneave is pleased to offer two scholarships to eligible Albertans. The deadline to submit applications for these is May 29, 2022. More information about each scholarship and links to the online applications are below.

 

Richard Haskayne Scholarship for Individuals on the Autism Spectrum

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and reward the achievements of autistic students who are enrolling in a post high school program (e.g., college, university, vocational/technical school) in Alberta. The amount and number of awards is at the discretion of The Sinneave Family Foundation. The typical disbursement is 4 scholarships of $2500.

Candidates must complete the online application and submit before midnight, Mountain Time on May 29, 2022.

The Doctor Fraser Mustard Scholarship for Advancing Knowledge in the Field of Autism

The purpose of this $5000 scholarship is to honour Dr. Fraser Mustard’s many contributions and memory with an annual Scholarship to an individual pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a field that supports and furthers knowledge and/or research of autism.

Candidates must complete the online application and submit the required attachments before midnight, Mountain Time on May 29, 2022.
